Orthopaedic Solutions: Hip Dysplasia & Ligament Repair

Orthopaedic conditions can affect a dog’s comfort, mobility and everyday quality of life. At our partner animal hospital in Antalya, selected cases may be assessed for hip dysplasia, cruciate ligament injuries and patellar luxation.

Each case is reviewed individually by the clinical team to determine the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment plan for your pet.

Clinical Assessment & Diagnostics

Each case begins with an individual veterinary assessment. Depending on your pet’s condition, the clinical team may recommend a physical examination, blood tests, digital X-rays and, where clinically appropriate, CT imaging to support treatment planning.

Dysplasia Surgery

Hip dysplasia can cause pain, reduced activity and difficulty rising or walking. Following clinical assessment, the veterinary team can discuss suitable surgical options for selected cases and explain the recommended recovery plan.

Cruciate Ligament Surgery

Cruciate ligament injuries can lead to instability, lameness and discomfort in the knee. The clinical team assesses each pet individually and may recommend surgical treatment where appropriate.

Patellar Luxation Surgery

Patellar luxation is a condition in which the kneecap moves out of its normal position. Corrective surgery may be considered for suitable cases to support more comfortable movement and long-term joint function.

Recovery & Hospital Care

Recovery requirements vary according to the procedure and your pet’s individual needs. Where post-operative monitoring is recommended, your pet may stay at the partner animal hospital under veterinary supervision.
